Struggling with PCOS? Give this a read.
Ovarian cysts, a rather common phenomenon among several women, generally go by their cycle without women even realizing its presence.
What are Ovarian Cysts?
Ovarian cysts generally might come and go as part of a normal menstrual cycle, especially just before a menstrual period. They are fluid-filled or solid pockets within a woman’s ovary and usually won’t cause any harm and are painless. They grow as the follicles in your ovaries become enlarged and then shrink and fade away.
Can they be reversed?
Most normal cysts are asymptomatic since they appear without much problem. However, in case of some possible issue, you might notice symptoms such as pelvic pain, irregular cycles, abdominal bloating, fertility struggles, painful urination, lack of ovulation, nausea, etc.
Nevertheless, if you haven’t been diagnosed with an ovarian cyst, explore making lifestyle and nutritional changes before starting medication for the same.Click here to hear one of our clients talk about her experience.

How to prevent cyst formation?
One important factor to note about cyst formation is its root cause, which is ‘too much estrogen’. Imbalanced estrogen-progesterone levels often can cause ovarian cysts.
Some measures that you can incorporate into your daily lifestyle to prevent cyst formation are as follows:
Maintain a healthy weight, based on age and body mass index to avoid developing conditions such as Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) that subsequently increase the risk of ovarian cyst development.
5- 6 servings of anti-inflammatory foods such as fruits per day.
Drop dairy completely from your diet. Dairy is high in growth hormones and estrogen.
