Ingredients:
- 1/2 Cup Broken Jowar (fadaa/ dalia)
- 1/4 Cup Broken Mung Dal(yellow)
- 1/2 Cup roughly ground Peanut (groundnut)
- 1/2 Cup chopped Bokchoy Leaves
- 1 Tsp Sesame seeds
- 1 Tsp Jeera
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 Tsp Turmeric
- 1/2 Tsp Chilli powder
- 1/4 Tsp Amchur powder (raw mango powder)
Cooking Method:
- Wash and soak the broken millet and broken dal separately for 15 mins.
- Pressure cook the millets by adding water 3 times the quantity of broken millet.
- Cook for 3 - 4 whistle. Let it cool and than open the cooker.
- In another pan add the mung dal , Bokchoy and water till the dal is covered.
- Keep stirring it in between till cooked, keep it aside.
- Heat a pan on slow flame, add jeera to it and let it splutter.
- Add crushed groundnuts and sesame seeds to it. saute for 2 - 3 mins.
- Add the cooked broken jowar millet, salt, chilli powder, amchur powder to it.
- Mix everything properly.
- Garnish with broken groundnuts.
