Ingredients:
- 1 cup raw buckwheat groats
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup mixed fruits and berries of your choice
- Splash of plant milk
Cooking Method:
- Rinse the buckwheat groats thoroughly in a fine mesh strainer.
- In a medium-sized pot, bring the 2 cups of water to a boil.
- Add the buckwheat groats, cinnamon powder, and salt to the boiling water.
- Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer, covered, for 15-20 minutes or until the water has been absorbed and the buckwheat is tender.
- Remove the pot from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes. Add plant milk to thin down the consistency.
- Serve the buckwheat porridge in bowls and top with your favourite mixed fruits and berries.
