Ingredients:
Equipment - Waffle Maker
1/4 Cup Each - Toor Daal, Moong Daal, Urad Daal, Chana Daal, Masoor Daal
- ½ cup brown rice
- 1/4 cup Water
- 1 tbsp grated coconut
- Dried Red Chillies: 2-3 Finely chopped
- Curry leaves: 5-6 Finely chopped
- Coriander leaves 1/4 Cup
- Cumin seeds 2 Tsp
- Ajwain 1/4 tsp
- Garlic cloves 2-3
- Salt to taste
Cooking Method:
- Wash the lentils and rice a few times with water and then soak them in fresh water for 3-4 hours or overnight.
- Blend the lentils along with rest of the ingredients to get a fine creamy texture.
- Pre-heat your waffel maker and pour a ladle full of batter. Press the maker to start cooking.
- Repeat this for the rest of the batter.
- You can use this batter to make dosa or crepes if you don't have the waffle maker.
- Serve this with mint chutney.
