Ingredients:
- 60 grams methi leaves
- 1/2 cup besan flour
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- Spices
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp cumin powder
- A pinch of baking soda
- Salt to taste
Cooking Method:
- Wash methi leaves, add them to a bowl, add in salt, massge them gently and set them aside for 3-5 minutes.
- Transfer remaining ingredients to a bowl. Add in methi leaves.
- Knead the ingredients to form a soft dough.
- Break small portions of the dough and roll them into flat thick circles.
- Bring 2 cups water to boil in a steamer.
- Transfer the methi flat-balls to the steamer plate. Steam for 10-12 minutes.
- Serve the methi muthiya(s) when hot.
